Moped and a Scooter differences

One major difference between a moped and a scooter is the size of the engine and the power capacity. A moped has a small engine and is designated as a vehicle with a displacement under 50cc. In most cases mopeds are limited to top speeds of 30 to 35 miles per hour. As such, mopeds are intended to be driven on roads rather than highways. And also the difference between a mopeds and scooters is found in the size of the engine and the power capacity. A moped is usually designated under 50 cc, while a scooter is in most cases over 50 cc. The two motorized vehicles also generally differ in size, safety restrictions, licensing fees, and body frames. Many mopeds have pedals, while scooters are entirely motorized. The scooter is a closer relative of the motorcycle, and some vehicles considered scooters can also be called a motorcycle.

Whereas mopeds were created for and embraced by youth culture, scooters emerged as a popular vehicle for those looking to save gas or those looking for more power than a moped without the intimidation or attitude of a motorcycle. Scooters have been used as a form of urban transportation throughout the world, and unlike the moped, are suited for transport on most highways. With a moped or scooter, you can let go of your inner road rage and discover a better way to travel. Before making your purchase, you may first require information regarding these vehicles, including what differentiates one from the other.

HUMMER H3T

Just when you though the Hummer-surely at the apogee of environmental progress-couldn't get any bigger, they go and unleash the H3T, a pick-up truck version that is bigger than iQ's living room.

ENGINE
Rather impressively, considering this pick up truck a big enough to haul Moby Dick, the engine is just a faint purr when you're in the cavin. step outside and its an altogether noisier story.

GEARBOX
the four-speed electronically controlled automatic gearbox is, as you'd expect, very smooth' and it delivers ample speed in the lower gears to get you out of any potential trouble.

REAR
Big enough to lie down flat in-yes, we tried-the open air boot of the H3T is enormous. Consequently, the rear of the car is enormous. Thankfully, the enormous headache of reversing is annulled by the rear view camera that's engaged as soon as you start rolling backward.

THE NEW MASERATI GRAN TURISMO

BEST LUXURY SPORTS COUP
In the current marketplace, at $120,000, the new Maserati Gran Turismo is a steal. It's a serious 2+2 in the Maserati 5000GT tradition. Styled by Pininfarina, with a luscious leather interior only Italians could create, it's a modern classic. We tore through Alpine passes from Balzano, Italy to Innsbruck, Austria, reveling in this elegant coupe's ability to straighten the most challenging curves. Sexy cars deserve sexy engine: The Maser's 405 bhp, 4.2-litter double overhead cam V8 packs 339 foot-pounds for torque. Perfectly mated to A six speed paddle shifted manumatic with normal and sport setting, the engine screams to a 7,100 rpm redline, rocketing to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds. Race inspired 13 inch Brembo discs haul the GT down precisely. Honorable mention in this category goes to Bentley's 60 mph Continental GT speed. It's nearly a second faster to 60 mph but lacks that exquisite Italian sensuousness.

The Maserati GranTurismo is a muscular and sporty car, that can be enjoyed every day and at the same time is engaging for the driver. Its excellent handling and sportiveness makes it a point of reference in its category. The Maserati GranTurismo is built with particular attention to comfort, choice of materials and details and with enough room for four people, as only Maserati can do.

The Skyhook suspension system featuring continuously adjustable dampers provides great driving comfort.

Passive safety is further enhanced thanks to the introduction on the GranTurismo range of a new generation passenger air-bag with Low Risk Deployment functionality.

THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN BMW 730 Li

The imperious BMW 7 series reaches a new level of luxury

You can’t help but give in to the mesmeric appeal of the refreshed BMW 7 series. In fact, you want to be pulled in. And once inside, you submit yourself to its power-especially when the engine starts to murmur.

Efficient dynamics

Other important innnovations in the BMW 7 series are the three variants of chassis and suspension, larger break, two-stage automatic break display, xenon headlights user friendly iDrive technology for front and rear cabin entertainment and communication, redesigned kidney grille, new chrome trim, new rear lights, and new rear air dam.

According to BMW executives, all these developments in engine construction are borne out of efforts to eliminate the conventional belief that power means more fuel. They appropriately named this principles as “efficient dynamics” to prove that power does not necessarily entail more fuel, or that more comfort requires added weight, and so on. All it took was for BMW to use light material such as aluminum and magnesium. But the best part is the result of intensive research that not allows hydrogen fuel for a more environment-friendly model that will soon hit the market in the next few year.

A THING OF BEAUTY AUDI R8

A THING OF BEAUTY is a joy forever, wrote John Keats so gracefully, and he was talking about sheep and daffodils. Imagine the poetry he'd have spouted if he had gotten his mitts on the Audi R8, Car of the year. We knew it was a serious contender this past February when we drove one along Nevada's high desert highways. On those stark roads the R8 exhibited vast amount of power and incredibly precise steering. Later in the year we turned an R8 loose on virginia's long and winding Blue Ridge Parkway, barely experiencing a fraction of the performance this incredible engine can deliver. That driver sold us. Now's your chance to turn the key and listen to the 420bhp, 4.2-litter V8 symphony playing just behind your head. that's right, a mid engine Audi sports car. No wonder Porsche is nervously checking its rear view mirror. Move the six speed gated shifter into first (or opt for Audi's six speed R tronic automatic trans) and experience a zero to 60 time of 4.4 seconds, the quarter mile at 12.7 seconds and if you can find the road a to end of almost 190mph. The R8's interior boasts polished leather and carbon fiber trim, and the whole thing sits on 19 inch alloy wheels (go for the optional pireli PZero staggered tires). If you aren't quitr sold, this technical info should to the trick: The R8 is fitted, of course, with Audi's quattro AWD, but you also get ESP with Electronic Differential Lock, speed sensitive rock and pinion steering, double wishbone front and rear suspensions and Audi magnetic ride. Some of the chassis's tech borrowed from the Lamborghini Gallardo (both Lambo and Audi are part of the VW Group), but the R8's sonically crafted exhaust is an Audi original, as are those unusual side panels behind the air intake.
Audi therefore continues to support sport prototypes and the DTM. With the Audi R8 LMS, Audi also offers customer teams a racing car incorporating high-quality technology and the typical Audi traits but which is, however, also easy to operate.
